Accurate Home Inspections, Inc. is a local company  serving the greater Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington areas.  I am the sole proprietor and I have been doing inspections since 1999.  Before that I worked as a remodeling contractor for 20 years in the Portland area.  I also own a 1928 house that I have extensively remodeled over the years.  I try to use my experience to help you understand the house you are buying and to help you plan for its maintenance and upkeep.   A home is usually the most expensive purchase a person makes.  I encourage you to attend the inspection and follow me around as I proceed through your house.  I appreciate questions and another set of eyes.  Being at the inspection allows you to get your questions answered while I am looking at your area(s) of concern.  Many times, buyers questions have allowed me to address their issues in greater detail, and to explain the overall effects of their concerns.

 

I am a full member of the Oregon Association of Home Inspectors, which is a chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).  ASHI is the oldest and largest trade group for inspectors in North America.  It also has the highest standards for membership of any of the national organizations.  If I cannot do your inspection I can recommend other qualified inspectors from our local ASHI group.

 

At the end of the inspection I will prepare a computer generated report with digital photos which I will give to you.  I will review this report with you before I leave and I will be glad to  walk around the house and explain my findings with you.
